Well.. the most expensive I have seen here in Holland is 1.52 Euro/liter.
Or 1.82 US dollars

which is 5.76 Euro/gal or 6.90 US Dollars/gal

It does make people think twice before they buy a Gas slurping, super-polluting monster car though...
