Read 'em and weep. Personally, I really don't know him, and therefore like or dislike him, but it's interesrting to see that someone is willing to prosecute such a high-ranking politican. He's pretty much in the Top 5 within the Republican hierarchy.
-
You need to make that last statement past-tense. He got booted awhile ago.
-
Karl Rove is probably going to be in the cell next door so he should have company in jail :D
-
This whole thing is rediculous. The indictment is so weak it's laughable. This whole ordeal is blatantly unconstitutional, and I hope the lawyer responsible gets booted.
Not that I like the guy.
-
Oh, of course you don't.
-
Get him. Throw him away. I never want to hear Tom DeLay again
-
The entirely legal but morally wrong actions are what annoy me, like when he gerrymandered the Texas districts to decrease representation of Democrats and minorities.

1. It's RIDICULOUS[/b][/u]
2. How is it unconstitutional? Educate me! And by the way, even if the grounds for indictiment weren't layed out it the constituition (which still doesn't mean it's unconstitutional), it's perfectly legal in Texas law (which hasn't been judged as unconstitutional on Federal level either).
-
Yes, please explain how it's unconstitutional. I'm taking American Government this year, I've read the Constitution a number of times, and I see nothing that could make the case unconstitutional. Not that I'm saying I'm a constitutional expert, but I do know a little bit about it.
-
How can you be so stupid Corsair?
It's cause he's a republican.
While it's perfectly okay to impeach a democrat for getting a blowjob it's always unconstitutional to do anything against a republican especially when they've done trivial little things like money laundering or revealing the names of undercover agents.
-
Oh, right. My bad, sorry. I forgot that when one party has a majority in Congress, said party and said party's members are infallible.
-
Just out of curiousity could someone give me a summary of what the hell is going on with Tom DeLay anyhow.
What is he at all suggesting was unconstitutional. I just saw that he was committing a few crimes and is getting his slap on the wrist.
-
Just out of curiosity is anyone in hear actually a republican? If you are..............
I HATE YOU

Awesome so the constitution says that I can launder money? Freakin' awesome! I just hope that this tightly kept legal secret won't get out now that Roberts is at large and in charge.
:ha:

So I guess it is ok to have corrupt politicians as long as they are republicans, right?
