"Doom" is laugh-out-loud the worst movie adaptation of a videogame I've ever seen. Uwe Boll can breathe a huge sigh of relief as he is no longer the poster boy for pathetic videogame directors. That honor now goes to Andrzej Bartkowiak.
Later, when the names of the actors appear on the screen, they are also blasted into little pieces. I forget whether the director, Andrzej Bartkowiak, had his name shot to smithereens, but for the DVD, I recommend that a monster grab it and eat it.

unsurprising, i think we've got more chance of the second coming of jesus christ than seeing a movie adapted from a video game that had anything to do with said game.

That's a silly answer. Everyone knows the next big movie will be Dance Dance Revolution: The Motion Picture.

True, that was good.
All caps, however, is annoying. It's only good when mocking He Who Attacks Soda Machines.

And yeh, doom aitn got much of a story so not much you can do sides see lots of gore kiling pointlessly loosely tied in wiht a plot.

Exactly why I saw Wallace and Gromit last week instead of Doom this week. I'll rent it when it comes out, hopefully halfway drunk.

Well, you don't expect them to call it the Big ****ing Gun on national American TV, did you? :p Plus, it was supposed to be all scientific and serious, that's why they renamed it probably.

Oh, wait. You were serious.
Originally posted by StratCommWait... you mean there's a weapon even more powerful than the BFG?
you would expect the lead actor to know what his gun (since it's the penultimate weapon in the game/movie) is called.

I actually thought that the Resident Evil movies were decent movies (no idea how accurate or inaccurate an adaptation from the game they were, since I never played it).
