B5 Project models. Otherwise, it's a very nice render.

Maybe he doesn't like Babylon 5....or maybe he's alluding the fact that I think there are ultra high poly models hanging about on the net...

Nice render though, i like it.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

You know, I think it deserves more praise... cause to get that kind of quality model in the FS2 engine is amazing.

oh and the render ain't bad neither.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

I just mean the B5P models are low-poly. And I've never thought low-poly models were any good for renders when you have much better and more detailed ones out there. Especially in capships, especially when viewed that close. Those fighters are barely visible, they might as well be pyramids for all I can tell.

the lightning is cold... not enough dark on dark sides, and not enough bright on the edges of the lightened side methink.

i had high ambient lighting so you could see them since the visible star is on the far side

I might be being really ingnorant here but that looks like red lighting to me...

you're ignorant  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) it's pure white.. it's some other things causing the coloration

I meant 'red lighting' as in texture, it looks like texture form here
(he called me ingronante or something! Im might send in the Angel!)

It's just a preference I have as a render artist, but I don't like ambient lighting. It's so... rare.

Nice renders, though.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

LMAO! I like that excuse  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

But the render looks good, nice job - play with the planets though. You used Lunarcell for that right? [cough] Real Clouds [cough]  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
