Ahh, fun with IW2. Everything grinds to a halt as I blow every possible moment playing it. Mmmmfun!

There's scuttlebutt goin' around about some new alien species nobody's ever encountered before. Great big predatory aliens that grab you and cocoon you and lay their eggs inside. I heard they come from some place beyond the frontier - some chicken**** colony barely in the Network. They grabbed two hundred colonists and bred hundreds more before Space Command sent the Marines in. I heard they sent a platoon in to recon the LZ; they had their butts kicked by some big mother queen bug who trapped them in her hive an' tried to use 'em to breed more bugs. They say that only a couple got away, and one of the Marines left behind hadda take out the bug hive by squatting at ground zero and pulling th' pin on a nuke.
That's hardcore. Semper Fi, man. Semper Fi.

I played it for a while, but because I suck so bad, I got stuck in the first sight of a fight (I get my arse blown up every single time, within seconds).
I doubt I'll ever finish it. Meaning I won't start modding it, meaning no higher-poly l33tness from me (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

Should I buy that game? part of me says "are you insane? (which is a good game)" another says "well, is FS3 gonna be released?.... exactly..."
In the demo I could't get some cargo or other so I attacked the station and loads of fighters attacked me - Wasted them and attacked the station more then I died by crashing into a cargo cotainer???

Just wanna game with good game play (with billions of features). the physics are putting me off.
(I only learned today that FS2 missiles launch at the speed you go plus their own extra volocity (I acidently put afterburner at 700 on a bomber, the bombs went SO fast to the target HE HE (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) but you can never catch up with them!!! grrrrr, want to blow self up, or see if its possible)

That cargo that we are meant to exchange for the Maas codes is given to us during our stay at Lucrecia's base (not negotiable - it happens in a story bit), but sometimes it doesn't activate... the guy just thinks we don't have it. I don't know why... I can understand your frustration. This is one of the reasons I'm holding off on buying - though I will get it, eventually.

Mine to... but leaving the cheats there for emergencies is a wonderful thing... a little use of the Alt + X button rapidly removed all traces of 3RD Way ships in the surrounding area. What fun that was (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/lol.gif)
