Title: Quake 4 saves...

I just reinstalled Windows on my gaming system and even though all my games and other important stuff are always in another partition, I accidentally deleted my Quake 4 saves just prior to reinstalling the game. :(

I don't exactly remember where I left, but the last big thing I remember was giving some extra volts to a big lumping mass of flesh by pushing a button in two seperate panels. The thing shutted down and some workers came from beneath the thing, you were supposed to enter a small tunnel beneath the flesh thing. I cannot remember anything worthwile after that, so if I could just get a savegame from that point at least, I'd be happy. I just can't bear starting over. :hopping:

If you wouldn't mind a savegame on hard difficulty, I should have a save near that point, otherwise I'll just load the nearest and play up to it.

Ok, just made a save just before the big heart/pump thingy, just pm me your e-mail and I'll send you the save.

Quake 4 has some pretty impressive moments such as her landing. Nothing quite like seeing a huge capship fly out of the sky, blow up a ton of turrets, and then land. ...and then you board it for debriefing. ;)

Yeah, it was quite impressive moment. F.E.A.R is still more impressive though. ;)

finally got my copy. im satisfied with it so far. i got to the part where you get convertid to a strogg. about that time my mouse hand got tired. im taking a break to read forums and stuff. anyway i dont like that it just uses the doom3 engine instead of coming out with a new one. actually i looked at the credits and it seems they outsourced the whole game to another game company. i like the marine interactions they certainly set it apart from unreal 2 or doom 3. i am slightly used to the sky being a bit more orange but other than that the look and feel is almost identical to quake2.

beat it, on general too :D
and it seems multiplayer sux. same crap game types and no coop mode. they shoulda had a hovertank/mech arena at least.

now i can resume modding.
