I am planning to speedrun FS2, for individual missions. Just pointing it out, maybe some of you could compete with me for the best times! It can only help the popularity of the game.

I have a video of the first mission encoding now, just a tester really.

The problem with speedrunning FS2 is that many events take place at a set time, so for example a ship will warp in at 15 minutes after the start of the mission no matter what you do.

Yeah for most levels the only tactic is timing your jumpout right, but a lot are primarily player-driven.

unless you cheat and make all the enemy wings go poof and then the next event comes up. :p
