Title: 3ds max 8
Post by: ShadowWolf_IH on October 25, 2005, 08:12:37 pm
go to ebay.com and do a search for 3d studio max 8.

i ordered mine for 26 dollars.  I just ordered it, and my seller has a 98.5% positive feedback score, so i feel pretty comfortable with it.

It only comes with the cd and key is provided, but.....if it is legit i'll let you know.  If it isn't i'll let you know.  and if it isn't, i am willing to take a 26 dollar chance on it...sooooooo

I just thought i'd let you guys know.

There's a 98.5% chance of it being an illegal copy.

How can that be real?? It must be like the copies of apps I used to see in Malaysian shopping malls for USD 2 per CD.  Maybe Singh can hook you up for even fewer bucks... :)

Oh great. Yet another unneccesary version of Max to f@%& with backwards compatability. Can't they just have an 'export to previous version' plugin or something?

Strange thing about this version; it's no longer Discreet. It's Autodesk. :wtf:

I knew about that actually.  They folded back together sometime last year.

It'll most likely be a bad illegal rip version. You could have saved 26bucks and gotten a proper CD image for free instead.

Maybe its the demo.
About the backwards compability....well Autodesk bout Maya...so I guess in about 2 years we won't have Max or Maya anyway but maybe Maxa, Maxaya...something like that.

:doubt: Don't bump old threads please, unless it's really important.
