NOT believed to be sikh militants, Aldo.

The May attacks were believed to be by sikh militants. Apperantly they cant even confirm if this was an intentional bomb blast or not. Since this IS deepavali, you get a lot of small firecrackers going off everywhere. It could just have been as bad as several bad fireworks stuck in one place and being hit by a stray rocket...

Initial BBC report said it was suspected to be (possibly) Sikh militants.

Almost certainly was not accidental, as there were 3 explosions within a close time period, and at a significant separation as to not be attributable as being sort of a chain reaction(particularly on the bus).

My question is how the hell do you get a Sikh militant when they're supposed to be pacifists...

It'd be like a Quaker militant... then again there was Nixon :p
