Who said it was supposed to be symbolic? It's nice to see an angel that isn't falling or in pain. Good drawing too - perhaps if you continued the lightning down so that it was almost stricing the sea it might make it more obvious that the angel wasn't being hit?

BTW thunder... It's not that easy to draw... and i haven't watch any pictures while i was drawing this... so... u understand, it's not that easy to do everything with ur mind and talent :p

I know I know, but a little practice with it and you could try improvising - which is the next step with drawing since you can do whatever you like - it's far more free than drawing what's in front of you. Take this example of my hand, I held it in position and drew with my other hands then used my imagination to add the magical effects around:

I'm pretty happy with the results, and that was with a combination of what you do now and some imagination, keep at it - your good :nod:

Here, I compressed this down as low as I could, and then some.  My Scanner really messed it up but anyways.(Nudity)

Anyway that stuff looks pretty good. How were you able to get that shading effect in there?

I would post some of my stuff (mostly spacecraft) but my scanner is still broken. :mad:

infested larva: pretty good for an impro. i like the shading and the side-of-pencil effects.you might want to think about not over using that- don't overuse any one technique unless taht's the whole point of the pic.
codedog- like the eyes, and the lines of her shoulder and back. good use of line!:)

both of you might want to practice copying stuff, just to get proportions right. real women don't have those sorts of proportions unless they've been surgically... well, anyway.

and i _can_ draw, so don't nobody bag me out bout giving advice i can't support... its one of my (only) talents... go ask setekh...

here, guys, have a cookie. and keep practicing.:)

I have the exact same problem at the moment; my scanner has been broken for about a year and I have no way of getting images of my drawings. I could take pictures of them using a camera, but the quality will come out much, much worse than with a scanner. I should be getting a new one sometime soon, however. (maybe I should just bug my dad for now and see if I can get him to scan it for me at his work :D)
