I've been thinking about this lately. I would really like to see a campaign like the main one and Derelict, that gives you a sense of panic, a sense that all hell has broken loose. I would like to see one where there is almost no possibility to win, but you can somehow manage. Another good one is FS:1's campaign. At the end, you have to stop the Lucifer. I actually felt a real sense of panic, and that all hope rested on my shoulders. This to me would be the greatest campaign, one that gives you feelings inside of panic, and hopelessness...:shaking:

Survival is the first victory

Or the infreno campaign. There will hell brake loose. The name of campaign says it all

BlackWater Operations ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE and you question everything. Not even the good guys are safe anymore :)
END PLUG :)

I like this feeling too, but at the same time, it must be plausible and should be consistent with other events from the campaign as well as the main campaign. Many campaigns I have seen add in the desperation feeling just for the sake of it without proper explanations, which should be avoided at all costs.

Good point. If you do that it looks more like cowardice than desperation.

 think i made it obvious enough, and yes, the link is in my siggy for those of you interested.

Hm, seems like everyone is going for the desperation feeling. :p
After all, it's a big part of what makes FS great (and those darned annoying Shivans (*spoiler for FS campaign*) - I just capture the Tyranis (sp?) and then they proceed to level its destination and a whole bunch of other places too; not too subtle).

Work hard on NTV ;) :D. This hopelessness is what we should be going for in the first few missions anyway.
BTW, just looking at this thread I've really noticed how many big campiagns there are about 1/2 to 3/4 done. Everyone should make sure that these are released stepped slightly, say 2 weeks between each one, so that everyone has a chance to play every campaign. It would be a shame if say Inferno, BWO and Reciprocity all came out within a week of each other, and by the time I'd finished the first two, I'd forget the third.

Full Circle (http://fc.olaki.net/) ;7
FC gives you a sense of hope at first, then hopelessness, then dispair... then hope! then you die!
edit: Its actually more.... omg I cant beleave that just happened... Can he do that?

Hey, one thing Alikchi. Did you get permission to use all these mods from others? If not you better get it now, or we'll be in deep crap. (me and wolf have been discussing this)
