None of this "check all that apply" rubbish... we need a good old-fashioned Coke vs. Pepsi head-to-head deathmatch.
And if anyone votes for Pepsi, I'll sic Lightspeed on them. :D

Coke, but I miss Coke II and Coke III.
Coke II was like coke but with the bitter, coppery taste taken out, and III was darn near close to drinking syrup.

Coke.
Reasons why Coke 0wns everything:
1 - Contains phosphoric acid
2 - Kills everything it encounters on its way through your body
3 - Contains a LOT of sugar (hmmm... neccessary for people with blood sugar like me)
4 - Contains caffeine (hmm... neccessary for people with a blood circulation like me)
5 - Contains carbonic acid (i.e. fun to drink)
6 - Tastes good.
Coke Light is rubbish (reasons: no sugar + tastes too sweet (with the wrong kind of sweet taste)). Coke decaffeinated is teh devil (no caffeine & no taste).
Cherry Coke is okay from time to time, but in 99% of cases I prefer the Original.

Pepsi is better. I do like coke, especially fountain Coke. It tastes different then bottled Coke for some reason.

Ironically dispite my sweet tooth I can't stand pepsi's sweetness. It's the wrong kind of sweet.
I don't like diet coke for the same reason although diet coke with lemon cuts through the sweetness a lot and makes it drinkable.
BTW am I the only one waiting for the inevitable typo where someone on this thread admits to liking cock? :lol:

Both taste flat even when they're not.
Both taste like ****e anyway.
They're about as thirst-quenching as a cracker.
I once left a piece of meat in some Coke. It dissolved after two days.

You can't kill your taste buds completely with food. The only way you can lose your ability to taste is thru chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, or infection.

I don't drink either except when it's mixed with excessive quantities of Jack Daniels, so it's kinda hard to tell the difference anyway. :D

Coke. Because it's one syllable, which makes it infinitely better.
For some reason coke burns my throat when I drink it, Pepsi has a similar effect as well. Only the original flavors though, wonder what it is...

Yes, and that is a GOOD thing. It's one of coke's major advantages. See point 2.

Naah. The stomach continuously regrows its protective layer.
Of course, you shouldnt drink too much at once. But I think you'd have vomitted a couple of times before you could actually cause any damage to it.
Any any drinkable amount the 'damage' is negligible. But the positive effects aren't - ;7

Coke definately 0wns.
Although if it comes down to it, i don't mind Pepsi either. they're both good drinks. i think Pepsi does taste slightly sweeter, although it might be my imagination

I agree, sometimes there's a place for the sweet and fizzy stuff. But a glass of water is probably the most refreshing thing you can drink, and orange juice is brilliant stuff.
