Title: bit torrent refuses to cooperate

[Errno 9] Bad file descriptor

No upload, no download. And in addition to that, I resume at 10.5%, when I know for a fact that I had around 20% downloaded.

I remember getting this error in the past, but I can't remember how I solved it. It is not addressed on Suprnova's How-To Deal With Error Messages page, and a google search yields nothing useful.

I know that there is some really simple solution, but I just can't recall what it was.
