They've announced that they aren't building any motherboards on the nForce 3 250 platform. That means until the PEG chipsets come out (CK-08), there will be no nVidia-based mainboards from ABIT.

[color=66ff00]I'm most defienately not in the know when it comes to mobo manufacturers etc.
As such do you know why? I have an ABit NF7 and it's a good mobo, why aren't they collaborating on a NF3 board?

Well, the original NF3 chipset, the nForce 3 150, was incredibly useless. ABIT claims that the nForce 3 250/250Gb are too unstable, which is quite odd, as most of the early reviews of this chipset are extremely supportive, especially the reviews of the MSI K8N Neo.

I find it funny that Abit, a company who've always been on the haemorrhaging edge (with a widely documented trail of destruction in their wake), are the ones crying instability. What happened, did their lates bet^H^H^Hstable BIOS fall over and die?
