Title: No Internet Connection

When I try to play online, the game says it can't detect my internet connection.

"You have selected Dial-up connection as your type of connection. You are not currently connected. You must connect to your ISP" blah blah blah.


What am I doing wrong? (I have Cable internet)

Have you set your internet connection in the fs2_open Launcher to cable?

For some reason it's not showing as an option. :S I must have an ancient version :P

What versions of fs2_open and the launcher are you using?

5.3 launcher and 3.6.7

Go to the "Network" tab of the Launcher, and make sure you have "LAN/Direct Connection (And AOL)" and "Single Channel ISDN" (or higher).
