Title: Any Battlefield 2 players here?
Post by: DrunkenPirate on November 12, 2005, 07:12:22 am
Just wondering if any of you play Battlefield 2 here online, if so post yer stats! :)

Mine: http://bf2s.com/player/DrunkenPirate/
and the link to my BF2 site is in my signature.

New forums look good too, kudos to those that put their time into them, I recently had to install 3 versions onto different sites and it can be a chore setting them up how you want it.

lol...   24/7 karkand servers?
And you didn't unlock the DAO!?  :O    that's like the best close range gun in the game imo.

Also, I see you only need the basic ground defence badge to qualify for Sgt Major, just go and man the HJ-8 at the north of the island in Operation Clean sweep, all you need is 5 mins ans 5 or more kills, all the LAV-25's and boats trying to make their way to the island will provide a target rich environment to get this badge easily.
Kubra Dam is another good map to get it on. :)

Heh, typically I favor urban maps. More opportunities to get up close and personal with enemy armor, and it makes sniper-hunting more...exciting.

Personally, I never saw the appeal with the Shotguns. They're clumsy weapons. I prefer the Precision and Armor Piercing of the M95, or the long-range accuracy and damage of the G36C.

Thanks for the advice on Ground defence, though.

I love wake Island. It is just so fun to fly a helicopter and having a gunner rape the **** out of infantry, while dodging incoming missles.

Yea those things are a bit clumsy, but helluwa effective in close range indeed. God I love the Jackhammer (first weapon I unlocked)... untill the clip runs out (which happens quite fast :P )
