Title: Freezing my ***off
Post by: eagleclaw on November 12, 2005, 10:06:20 pm
I'm up here freezing my ass off  in -5 to -25 below zero. Hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather.

Best reattach it, see a doctor, and buy a heater, then.

Not necessarily in that order, though.

Aren't you lucky.  Just look at all the bright sun and toasty warm conditions interfering with my photos this morning:

Y'know, I was about to say the same thing. Especially regarding this one:

I wonder if it would collapse inward during a big earthquake.

What is your ***? Your ass? Your tat? Your hat? Obviously none of those, because I have the word filter off. :p

So maybe it's a graphical representation of a furry raccoon tail?

I feel for you, man. I live in the middle of the Pennsylvanian Appalachians, and its starting to get down in the 20s. That must sound great to you right about now, but soon enough it will be -13 every **** night.

It's not too bad around here yet (about 20 miles NW of DC), around 40 at the moment. And my computer heats up the room if I close the door, which works out nicely. :D

Hehe, I do that alot. :D  my room is always 6-10 degrees warmer than any other room in the house, even though it only has one vent, which makes for nice wintertime conditions.  If my desktop isn't doing the job I'll just hook up my laptop in the room too.

and i'm enjoying 50-60 degree weather. :p (and it's usually 90 degrees here, even in the winter :nervous: )

[EDIT] at least the -25 degree weather will keep your computer from overheating. :p

Cold weather > warm weather.  I'm in Delaware at the moment, and we're finally starting to see some fall-like temperatures.  I absolutely love this time of year, and I can't wait for winter.  You can all have your lawn mowing, swarms of gnats, stifling humidity, and sunburns.  Bring on the snow! :D

And, as they always say, if it's too cold you can throw on another layer, but if you're naked and still sweating your nads off, you're SOL. :p

I envy people where they actually have seasons.

where I live, we don't have seasons. the weather does what it wants here. it's literally 90 degrees one day and 70 the next. 90 degrees in wintertime, 60 degrees in summertime. jesus christ.

I never cared much for the cold.

Heh, San Fran is many things, but ugly it ain't. :)

Nor is it -25... :)
Most of the buildings you've posted aren't bad, but it would help if they even remotely went together.

Well, bear in mind that those pictures come from various parts of the city, and so aren't necessarily near one another.  Even the photos below were taken in San Francisco proper: :)

The key thing with temperature, if you ask me, is that CHILLY  (~50F/10C) is good but COLD (~40F/4C or less) is bad.  I moved away from Boston becuase I couldn't take  0F/-17C (or less) weather for weeks on end.

Here in the New York area, it sure doesn't feel like November... it was almost balmy out today. Man would I love to live in San Fran at some point in my life, though. It's a truly awesome area of the country.

I know what you mean about the weather in New York. I'm upstate, and it feels more like September than November. There's not even any snow...

That's I want. It's past Halloween: We should have at least a foot or two of snow. This greenery is wrong, I tell you! Wrong!
