I suppose that KFC and McDonalds are seen as 'symbols' of the west, odd really, they achieve absolutely nothing from this.

It's pathetic really, like a child lashing out at everyone else in the class because he can't have his own way :(

KFC isnt even really that good, more fat than anything

It is more of a symbol of the US more than the west in general. It is an expression of anti-americanism. I have heard that there is concern amoung the major multinational corperations that Bush's foreign policies are going to hurt their businesses overseas.

surpisingly, the KFC in tassie is rather good, they actually drain the food after it leaves the fryer, it's also much better than McD's..
i know people died and all, but this has to be asked...

Damn straight. Popeyes is so much better that KFC. Sadly, not too much Popeyes around here... I think the nearest one is an hour away.
