Title: You do not ask for custom titles in the request thread
Post by: ToecrusherHammerjaw on November 18, 2005, 01:47:44 pm
Don't know if this is the place to bring it up, but how many posts must I have or what do I got to do to custom-edit my title (i.e.: Apollo)?  If I meet the requirements, can someone get back to me, please? Thanks! :)

You don't.
EDIT: To clarify, you never reach a high enough point to choose your own title.

I thought not, just checking.  What's that require?

No spam in this thread please, this is for requests only. But it requires you doing something notable for the Freespace community, in creating something or just being generally well known. I'd give up on custom titles, though, I've been around for forever and still haven't gotten one :D But yes, please refrain from posting non-request posts in this topic from now on.

As others have said, we only give out custom titles on a per-case basis for those who've done something note-worthy. Even then I think only one or two have actually ever been allowed to choose their own.

The standard titles are on a per-post basis as others have said. However I'm not going to post them up publically so as to avoid anyone spamming their way to reaching a higher title.

If you've any further questions about this, feel free to PM me - but I think this thread is done.
