Other than the odd thruster flames, pretty good.

Perhaps someday you might put a bit of variation in your renders? They are all the same, just a few models flying over a planet in the background with a cool background... perhaps you should make a "story" to it.

Yeah, those thrusters are strange looking. Maybe you should cut down on the conic spread or something. Maybe make it fade out faster.
The background looks a bit too cluttered to me. Maybe reduce the number or fade them some more.
Also, I believe it's "God is Dead." You've got it now.

thanks for pointing out the typo in my sig.. and yes the style of truster flame isn't quite suited for large vessel - it works well for fighters though
a story in my renders? Maybe once i get satisified that my abilities are good enough.. right now i render mostly to try things out

Kazan, why don't you try using volumetric lighting instead of the cones for thrusters. With the combination of a good glow or lens flare, it'd look great!
btw..those little pulse cannons are anti-fighter guns. They fire around 4-5 shots per second. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) Just a little FYI.

A) Using Volumetrics for that scene would make that single frame require 20 minutes to render
B) TrueSpace's Volumetric support sucks donkey nuts

That's not an excuse... if you are trying things out, you have to make it good enough to make people's eyes pop out, if you want to think of it as a good render. That is, if you're relying solely on your rendering skills.
