Title: Whole bunch of missing textures; how do I get them to work again?

Ok, so just yesterday I reinstalled everything. The game works fine, but there's a problem. So far I've only noticed it on the Orion. And that's the regular Orion, to be specific. The Orion(Bastion) works perfectly. On the reg Orion, there's an assload of 'missing' textures, and I say 'missing' because they're all there on the Bastion, which uses the same maps. Has anyone had this bug before, and how did you fix it?

And yes, this is the HTL Orion.

Please, for the love of god, give me some help. I can't search for help, because the search is STILL DISABLED, and I've tried screwing around with the data directories. All I can do is ask you guys for help, despite how stupid my question might seem, particularly in retrospect once someone answers it.

which build are you using?
which command lines are you using?
what are your system specs?
which media vps do you have installed?
do you have any other mods installed?

That's a strange bug because the textures on the Orion, with one notable exception, are all stock maps and should, if nothing else, fall back on retail data.  Unless of course it's HOTU retail data or something, which seems unlikely considering that the Bastion works.  There is functionally no difference between those two models except for a single texture name, so there's no reason for the maps to not work.  If the two are side-by-side in mission, are the results the same?

I'm using the stock 367 build.

AMD Athlon 1700+ with ATI Radeon 9600(Catalyst), 640 MB of RAM.

adveffects, effects, textures, models, core, amodelspatch, amodelspatch2, and detailmodels are my MVs.

No other mods are installed.

And holy crap, what the hell? The textures work now that I made and saved a mission with the Orion and Bastion side by side.

And holy crap, what the hell again. I cut the mission out of the entire FS2 directory, and they still work, and that was the only change I've made. I don't understand. Although, if loading both of those in FRED was the fix, I give muchos gracias to you, Strat. If it happens again, I'll post here again.

OT: You might want to ditch the -pcx32 option, it being a memory hog and all

Textures usually start diasppearing when you're running out of memory. I ran into that playing the old SCP patched Inferno (Release 1) campaign. I got pretty far in and had to exit the game, and go back in.
