Bit of a weird one this, I've always wondered if it would hold up in court and it seems it has: Link (http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article1027927.ece)

I'm really not sure what to say about this, I find it odd that a man should be so offended by the offer/act of sex from a woman over 10 years his junior that he would accuse her of rape. There is undoubtedly more to the story, but something strikes me as 'wrong' there...

I don't know. I've met a few women that I wouldn't touch with a bargepole and would not want them to touch me.
Assuming the story is as it seems, doing it while he's asleep is just creepy.
-
Exactly, if the bloke had been 'raped' by an attractive girl, I'm sure he would never have said a word ;)
Seriously though, yes, I agree it's creepy, but, quite frankly the usual method is 'Look, I'm flattered but not interested'. I'm not saying this isn't a victory for women's lib, but there must have been more to it than 'Man wakes up being given oral sex by a woman ten years younger'. Without prevailing factors, at 32 years old, that's not considered an offence, it's considered a sodding gift from God, you half expect Angels to be dropping from the ceiling ;)

I guess I don't particularly care. If the punishment was justified, whatever, it's been paid. If it wasn't, well, I've heard of (and probably met) quite a few women who just seem so eager to accuse a man of rape or sexual assault or sexual harassment over some small thing, or to get back at them for something. So if that's the case, unless it's really ridiculous, someone else is going to have to argue about it.

He could be a sexomniac.

So long as it doesn't involve biting, all oral is good oral.
-
Something roughly like this has happened, several times, in the US.

Non consensual? Then it can be called rape.
I mean, if the guy is incapacitated, doesn't want oral sex (maybe she's ugly? Maybe he's in a relationship or gay?) from this woman, then I reckon rape is a fair call. The question of non-consent might seem a tough one (bearing in mind, of course, that arousal is an instinctual response rather than explicit consent to a sexual act), but the same issue applies for females anyways; if a woman is drunk or drugged, and wakes up to find someone shagging her, then surely we wouldn't question her right to declare that as being rape?

I wonder if nine months jail is the usual sentence for when a man rapes a woman... Seems to be an awfully short jail time for such an offense.

nope, it sounds perfectly plausible.

Remember guys
Non consensual? Then it can be called rape.
Pretty much sums up my point of view. While being woken up by a cute girl doing that to you sounds like fun there are many reasons why you may not have consented to it. Suppose this was from a woman who had been stalking you? etc.
I fail to see why only women should be able to treat non-consensual sex as rape.
Besides this story offers us a perfect oppotunity to remind our SO's that we don't consider them in particular doing this to us to be rape :D
