Title: interesting FS info for anyone in the UK
Post by: Martinus on September 18, 2001, 11:09:00 am
I don't know how many of you are aware of this but HMV are selling FS1 and FS2 as a boxed set for only £9.99, that's only £8 if you have a student card!!

Well worth getting if like me you've been unable to get a copy of FS1. Stop drooling, go buy  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

You don't read the HLP main/news page, Maeglamor   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Anyway, this is good news. I hope we also get it here. I know some who would buy it.

I think it was aimed at the people that have the forums as bookmarked rather than the main site  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Axctually, they're doing 3 for £22 - i got the FS double pack, mig Alley (which I can't play atall) and some mad Need for Speed game..

All in all, that's about £5.50 for each game, even if I already have one of 'em  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

Don't think Fs1 has Silent Threat, though.

No, an old one (apparently) base don Gran Tursimo, owing to my incredibly crappy PC.

'Road Challenge' - it's not that bad, actually, provided all the graphics details are up at max...

Road Challenge is NFS4...

why you didn't get Porsche 2000 is beyond me...
the requirements are the same, the price is the same, the game is better  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

I got a Beetle  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif).  can make them as well (some 3ds mesh for inside and out I think), but I can't be bothered learning how to mod another game (FS takes up enough of my time  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif) )
