Ok does anyone know bout this movie coming to theaters or its going come out on dvd......last time i check teh release date in american verson is on Jan 10th???
-
Not coming to theaters last I heard. Just DVD(?) and PSP.
-
 never heard of the movie. sorry.
(uh-oh. im going post-happy :shaking: )

It was supposed to be released in November.
I am probably the only person in NA who hasn't seen it, though, EVERYONE I know downloaded it.
I wonder how that will actually influence the sales, delaying a "done" movie by what, 6 months?
-
Everyone who's seen it will probably buy it.
****, I can't wait to be able to buy it, though the delay suits me since I have no money currently. But provided I have the money, I just can't wait even though I've seen it.

I hope. I feel personally screwed for being "legal" and them missing release dates.
My cross to bear though. I know I could solve it by doing something like iso hunting.
Principles be damned, right?

If your ethics and morals make up for it ;)

I tend to determine what I DL on a case by case basis.
Feeling totally jipped by Valve for instance I would have no problem using Steam-down but I'd never copy and distribute Lore.
As for music/movies etc. They keep pushing the 'your hurting the artist/little guys' lie. All this whilst they're making record profits. I DL'ed SG1, BSG and Doctor Who from the beginning, as a result of them being good I bought the DVD's. I DL'ed TPM and AOTC and they both sucked so I declined to purchase anything to do with the prequels.

They better release on Jan 10th, at least what i heard..

@Maeglamor
Orson Scott Card agrees with your opinion - and the guy wrote several best selling sci-fi, some absolute classics like Ender's Game.
MP3s Are Not the Devil
Since every penny I earn depends on copyright protection, I'm all in favor of reasonable laws to do the job.
But there's something kind of sad about the recording industry's indecent passion to punish the "criminals" who are violating their rights.
...
So it's pretty hilarious to hear record company executives and movie studio executives get all righteous about copyright. They've been manipulating copyright laws for years, and all the manipulations were designed to steal everything they could from the actual creators of the work.
...
And rental videotapes! That was the end of the world!
When the studios finally stopped charging ninety bucks for a videotape, they discovered that the videotape (and now DVD) aftermarket was often bigger than the original theatrical release.
The internet is similar, but not identical, to these situations.
First, most of the people who are getting those free MP3s would not be buying the CDs anyway. They're doing this in order to get far more music than they can actually afford. That means that if they weren't sharing MP3s online, they would simply have less music -- or share CDs hand to hand. It does not mean that they would have bought CDs to get the tunes they're downloading from Napster-like sharing schemes.
That's why I laugh at their estimates of "lost sales."

I found something quite brilliant about two weeks ago at a record fair, it was a Hendrix record from the 60's and it had the usual paper sleeve. On it was stamped 'Home taping is killing the recording industry'.
Hah!

IIRC, the reason for hte NA delay is so they can rework the lip syncing for English.
Least, thats what I heard. I trust the person who said it, considering he's the most likely to know this stuff (Quote from him, "Cloud could turn me gay.")
