I would like to collect some feedback on the difficulty of the Survivor Campaign. If anyone manages to complete all 10 rounds please let me know ;7
-
i wonder where the sense is in such a "campaign".
i mean i killed all fighters, that was pretty easy. the next mission with the freighter is just undoable. i put all power to engines and flew out, but that didnt help, cause i dont know in what direction. i get a good from kosh everytime, but i still blow up.
the next mission, z mission, is maybe possible. i killed the whitestar and was far away, but still got killed in a blast, thats plaine unfair, so i give up on this!!

LOL. its challenging.
On round 2 you just have to fly as far from the asteroid field as possible (in a straight line is best) Kosh says good when you are 3/5 clear of the asteroid field. This is probably the easiest one in there.
Round Z - Capital punishment is meant to be very very hard, After you destroy the whitestar the fun doesnt end there, you also have to destroy - a Minbari Cruiser, A Drakh Cruiser, A shadow Battlecrab then a vorlon cruiser. ;7
This upload was actualy the wrong one, this is full of bugs and errors, I uploaded the incomplete one by mistake. I have uploaded the campaign again (the fully working version).
;) :)

i see, challenging :)
anyway, i think it is challenging, but also too boring in some places, i mean destroying a capitol ship as a single fighter is not challenging, just boring, because you have to fire at it for ages, maybe destroying turrets first to have a free position to fire, but thats it.

The capital punishment level is designed as punishment mission, Its not like the other rounds, you only get onto this if you attack any of the spectators or if you manage to get past round 9
-
there must be a mistake then, i had a message that i killed a spectator after the fighter mission, but i didnt kill it. or is it the vorlon fighter that comes last?
if so, it shouldnt fire at you when warping in ;)
-
Probably downloaded the wrong one, I uploaded the correct one today. The first upload was the wrong one, the upload available from 10am (uk time) todfay was the right one. The vorlon fighter jumps in last on round 1, then you go to round 2 unless you kill the spectator which sends you to round z (Capital Punishment). ;)
Best re-downloading it if you have the first one.

Anyone got to the lucky dip mission yet??
-
how on earth do i go about killing the vorlon fighter? Evreything else is easy but that one just roasts me on the spot!
-
The Vorlon fighter is a tricky 1, when the vorlon jumps in try to stay out of its forward arc. If you are in front if it you be quite dead, quite quick. Always stay behind the vorlon then it can`t fire at you, takes a bit of time and patience but you will get there in the end. ;)

I thought all the previous ones were pretty easy, until mission 5 where you have to out run the minbari fighters through the asteroid field .. there is just no cover and they can pretty much keep up with you long enough to kill you and since one of their hits does about 20-30% damage, you can't make any mistakes in avoiding the shots.
I give up.
EDIT: decided to give it a one more chance, and this time got through it. The next missions is unplayable because all the ships and objects no including the cargo pods are invisible.

Survivor will be updated to work with 3.3 this weekend :)
That will eradicate any problems you may be experiencing apart from the difficulty
