Title: Shine maps

Hi.

I have a problem with the shine maps. SOME of those maps (NOT at ALL models  :confused: ) are cause the game work very slow when distance between player and model is less then 2000m, it's interesting - this problem happenes from time to time, not permanently.

Maps format - adaptive PCX 8bit.

May be, there are some rulse for create this maps.... Please help.

Are you talking about TBP originals, or maps and/or models you made yourself?
I assume that the maps are your own since they are in PCX form... Most TBP maps should be in DDS format (I think) wich is much more memory efficent.
