Unknown Document... ("http://www.warpstorm.com/files/Nyxfall.doc")
I'm not clicking on that until I know what it is...

Wimp. It's a story document. Didn't you see the .doc part? (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

I think that's why he's being cautious... DOC files can contain viral macros... Wouldn't you be cautious if it could destroy files on your comp? (and no I'm not saying Heretic would do that... intentionally anyway.)

It's safe. I read a few pages of it last night (my time).

Cool. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

Just be aware that the damn thing is some 136 pages long! That is a hell of a lot of reading.

Visit Warpstorm. ("http://www.warpstorm.com") Do it now.

I know there is a method, but all I see is madness.

Wish I had Word on my own machine. WordPad isn't all that good to read. + I need to tone down the resolution or my eyes will start bleeding in about an hour of concentrated reading (my refresh rate really is that bad).

At size 9 with 1cm margins and double-columned, I manage to squeeze the thing to 69 pages. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Eishtmo... Complaining about the length of a story? Nahhh, must've misheard him (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/lol.gif)
Not a bad story. Not exceptional, but definately not bad. I loved your work on the factional politics (even in the face of a greater threat, it was great!) I did find a lot of the technical descriptions and "PSB" to be rather distracting however. Maybe next time you could stuff that junk into a glossary?
For some reason this whole setting has been screaming "Homeworld MOD" at me all night. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
