Nice.
How long did it take you?
Any effects / tricks you use in particular?
-
I don't remember how long it took exactly, although I know I made it in less than one night.
The best tip i can give is to have a good understanding of light and shadow, and how to use the cloud, noise, blur, and fiber filters to your benifit.

Ah yeah, I see some of the techniques behind it now. :) Ta.

500 hours in MS P...
That looks really really nice indeed. Good job.:yes:

Render my cutscene.
That sounded naughty.
Anyway, how many posts can I make in Carl's threads that write "Awesome"? Has to be a limit somewhere.

Excelletn job.. Proportions and lighting look excellent...alltough..hm...the blade has a more stony than metaly feeling to it...
-
Looks pretty sweetly detailed. Nice dents too. However, looks to me a little more on the rocky side than metallic...

Awesome!

The "grain" should run along the blade, or it will perform exceptionally poorly as a sword, but the design is nice, and I really like the little shield device at the base of the blade. Good stuff. :)
