I just ran across this... thought it might be of interest to anyone who uses the web alot - especially if you program in flash or have an interest in alternative user interfaces.
The point? You don't click anything on the site to navigate it. Ever. Check it out.

Wow that would be hell to ActionScript.
But yea the ideas neat but it seems accident prone.
-
See, now this is interesting. I'm betting everyone accidentally clicked at least once or twice.
-
I didn't. Lags like hell though.
-
You think thats cool? Imagine finding your son staring at some bestality porn site because someone left the mouse in the center of the screen...
:shaking:
-
Ugh. Interesting, but I very much dislike it.
-
Doesn't appeal to me, I tend to drift the mouse over the screen when I'm browsing, using it sometimes as a sort of digital bookmark, I kept rolling over things I didn't intend to which made things confusing.
-
What's your mousecamp score? Mine's 5500...
-
Bleh. That's nearly as stupid a UI concept as the doubleclick. The whole point of the click is that it's a positive action and can't be misinterpreted by the machine.
Some art student confused 'innovative' and 'useful' again.
-
Did you check out the download buttons etc. and such? I thought they made a rather neat alternative to clicking. If you're careful it's easy to make it work.

Ahh, your mind is weak, earthling. Not clicking is very easy (at least for me) and i find this whole thing to be very cool.
-
bleh, I cant use the site since im at work (cant full-screen IE). In any case, not clicking isn't that hard at all. 50% of the my web surfing is done via the tab, enter, backspace and space buttons in the keyboard :p
-
uninteresting, but the only thing that gets my interest is the coding. :D
-
For a moment I thought you meant don't click the link in your thread. :p
-
Nice from a scripting standpoint. Terrible from a user interface standpoint.
-
As above.
-
I think it's pretty neat, actually. The way it's done on this site isn't very functional from a everyday use perspective, but it's a decent idea and if done right I think it could work well.
-
Indeed. I've got to go with the "neat in concept, terrible in practise" way of thinking here. 'Tis impressive coding though. Bet he didn't do that with SWiSH ;)
-
Annoying. Hated it.
-
it looks retarted.......
whats the point? whats on the site?
ahh... stupidist idea ever!
-
The site is just a demo of the potential interface. It's not supposed to lead to anything but to show you what is possible.
Of course if you did hate it - there's nothing for you there :)
-
really stupid. no back button. takes too long to load
-
get off the crappy connection and computer then.
sites like that are meant for xDSL and higher with a pretty fast computer as well.. i loaded it in an instant.
-
i meant compared to normal sites. anyway, i have DSL too. but ill admit that my computer is bad.

dude, how bad is your computer? I still cant understand why u cant run FSOpen!!!! Whats the specs on that piece of crap of yours!! :p :p lolololol
-
Wow, an entire interface built around rollovers. Golly.
I gave up on it the moment the email dialog came up with directions to USE THE KEYBOARD to select fields instead of clicking. Because gosh, we can't admit that clicking actually has a place now can we?
-
It doesn't, placing the cursor over the required text box also works. Try exploring properly before judging :)
-
It's ****, IMO. A gimmick ahead of actual usability design.
-
this is just simply... UGH, it makes my eyes sore, but the mousewrapper is fun :p
