Mr T to supply voice for SatNav systems...
Take a listen to the clip... it actually sounds like it'd be quite fun ;)
-
That is just sheer class :)
-
Hmmm, I'm thinking that we could soup the system up a bit with a camera and a fuel gauge and create the Irish version.
DRINK! GIRLS! FECK! ARSE!

You're going to the airport? Don't make me get on no plane, foo!
-
Yeah, saw that a while ago. That'll be a novelty but I think after a while it'd get pretty old, no?
-
True, the novelty will have thoroughly worn off by the 17th repetition of "I pity the foo, who drives a Volvo" :nervous:
-
The site says they are in mp3, but they are actually wma. :(
-
I think there is the standard 'computer' voice available as well, they are a novelty add on. In a way, it's a clever business move, probably about a 1/2 meg of low res sound samples can add $250+ dollars to the price of the system. :) And it would certainly cheer you up of a morning to get in your car and hear Burt Reynolds suggesting you eat your Satnav ;)
-
My goodness. Is this seriously real? I have to tell my brother. :D
-
"You're going the wrong way, foo!"
But will it offer handy tips on turning your car into a tank o' doom with just an elastic band, 3 cereal boxes, a toilet roll holder and some tippex?
-
Ah this sounds great
