I would know if there any POF (or Cob) exporter for Maya ? Because a friend lost is data when exporting his model within Deep Exploration (like normals, name being cut, lost lights, etc...).

there's lots of support for both Maya and TS, though I'm not familiar with either TBH.

Thanks but that's not related to POF or COB. I'm modding for Freespace 2, not for UT2K4.
When using Deep Exploration to translate Maya scenes to .COB files, I lose all my lights.
If I go through .3DS first, my names are shorten to 10 characters.
I'm trying to find a way to get lights, objects and names exactly as I have them in Maya. I still haven't found :(

Don't think you will TBH. You could do names 'n' lights in TS. Look for a fella named karajorma. He's got an FAQ.

Thanks, I know those tutorials. But really, I don't want to use TrueSpace at all. The UI is awfull, I hate it. If I can manage to use only Maya, then export the scene as-it in .COB (through diverse programs maybe), I will be happy. But changing names in TrueSpace (ISD with more than 100 objects) or creatings lights (many many lights), it won't happen.
