I can't get the game to recognise my joystick at all.
I'm using the latest drivers, have uninstalled/reinstalled
the stick but no joy. Freespace recognises EVERY other
damn peripheral I have (wheels/pads & that) but not the
cyborg! wtf?
I'm running the latest version of FS_Open - is there a bug
with this & cyborgs?
My stick worked fine with vanilla Freespace & still works fine
in all my other games. I don't particularly want to use saiteks
stick mapping program (I'm not convinced it will change
anything anyway)
Any ideas????
TIA

Hmm... offhand, I've not encountered this with my Saitek. Have you tried selecting the stick in the original launcher(i.e FS v1.2), and then running FSO? I believe the joystick data set in the original launcher should be carried over to the FSO in that case. Although, offhand, I'm stumped.

The original launcher no longer runs since I added
FS_Open!
I think I might just uninstall/reinstall the game & go
step-by-step from there
......oh joy!
I just lost my router a few days ago to compund
the misery. More expence.

THat's odd. I've never had a problem with the launcher; it may point to the old FS2 exe, but it still seems to write the correct reg settings. Perhaps this has changed, though - been a while since I last played FSO.
