looks nice so far, I just hope they'll work more on the characters, coz they don't look very realistic right now ( well, the guy is about ok, but the female... nono)

That woman has far too much clothing on.

No, ISS does not equal FIFA. ISS is, and has always been, way better.
Nice line-up, though. It's always been my choice of the new consoles, and dammit, I may even get it (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
Now go away, I'm supposed to be writing an essay about a 900-page book I haven't even read.

I think SC2 is also coming out for the PS2. Long live PS2! (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) with GTA3, Devil May Cry, MGS2, FFX & FFXI nothing can stop the PS2 from reigning supreme mwahahahahahaha!

Soul Calibur 2, mate. You know, the game this thread is about?

Except outdated technology, that awful concept of 'home entertainment system' (mediocre console + crappy DVD player) as opposed to a pure gaming machine, and the lack of Mario (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

ok (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/lol.gif), figured since StarCraft was more popular(i think), the "SC" title would go to that. Sorry (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

StarCraft at least had cutscenes. I think we should give all kickboxoid games acronyms that spell very rude words, it's more appropriate.
Maybe it's that month-old refrigerator food that's giving me all these strong opinions...
-
Beat'em ups rule. Back in my console days those were all I played.
-
Yeah, I remember the original for this, SoulBlade. It was a good occupation of a lot of playing hours (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

Beat 'em ups - ahhh, it's been too long since I've played some of those. Final Fight and Vendetta were the last I remember... and they were on emulators... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

Tekken 3, Soul Calibur and SF Turbo are the main constituents of my fight game diet.
Soul Calibur just rules. OK (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Yeah, when it was invented (back in the days of pig's bladders (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/icons/icon12.gif) ) it was called football, why should we change it for america's convienience?!?
You guys really take the biscuit calling grid-iron 'american football' how often does the ball touch the damn player's foot? Your 250 pound ballerinas in body armor wouldn't last a second playing rugby (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

England: rugby, football and cricket (for the "boring old people"). And their teams unfortunately suck in all three sports (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)
America: baseball, "football", "hockey" (it's ice-hockey, hockey is something else entirely). And their teams don't have anyone to play against (except ice-hockey, in which we beat the crap out of them (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif))
Quite frankly, I'd much rater pick England than the US.

I lived there. I was actually on a week-long school trip to the Isle of Man(n) when England lost to Germany in the penalty shoot-out of the finals of the... I think it was the 1996 World Cup (football).
It wasn't pleasant for the next few days. And this was among 10-year-olds (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

European Championships (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
Same year they scraped past us at Wembley (Gary bloody MacAllister (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif) ).
That might not have been nice in In-ger-land (they stabbed an Russian thinking he was German! - bunch of idiots), but it was bloody fantastic up in Scotland (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/lol.gif) (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/devil.gif) (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/ninja.gif)
