Title: Running retail multiplayer games.
Post by: Umi on January 22, 2006, 01:04:03 am
Yeah, first post alert x_x

("\(^_^)

anyway...since FS2netD is down, I tried to run an IP game with a friend. We entered both of our IPs in the appropriate field, but the server list said "No game servers found"

I'm behind a router, and I tried forwarding ports 7117 and 7808, but that didn't help. My friend and I also know each others WAN IPs.

can anyone help?

Well I prefered standard IP games to it but you might want to try out Hamachi (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,37824.0.html).

Only one of you should have to put in an IP address.  One of you hosts and creates the game; the other puts the host's IP address into the multiplayer options, then when the game is created it should show up in the list.

Are you doing that?
