I'm sure this question has been asked a million times before...but whatever happened to those campaigns? Where they just cancelled years ago or what?
I played the Twilight Demo back when we didn't have the SCP, and i haven't heard anything about it since...does Twilight and the Babel Effect exist anymore? probably not.......
-
yeah, many of those old ones went under long ago.

The Babel Effect got axed shortly before I hopped to help finish off BWO.
I've intended to do a re-release of Twilight with new command briefing animations, and several times I've asked for Setekh to help with them and he said yes but things came up preventing them from being finished.
Twilight was released right when the SCP was beginning, there were quite a few issues with compatability, etc. Needless to say, now builds are stable and a re-release would be very smooth.
BWO does actually handle the story threads from the Babel Effect, so keep an eye out. ;)

That had nothing to do with compatibility. You just had a few minor table and model errors. :p

There were no problems with FS2 retail.
Regardless if you wish to argue it take it to PMs.

I already posted what was wrong with it - in retail - last time this topic came up, as well as how to fix it. I don't need to argue; anyone who downloads the campaign can see for himself.

Table errors are almost certainly caused by something not being in the right order. The FS2 parser had a limited correcting ability, but really wasn't very smart at all. There were problems where a mod got lazy and released some tables with fields in the wrong order, causing crashes that appeared entirely unrelated.
If it really is just table errors, it's gonna simply be a matter of putting the fields in the correct order. They may not have broken FS2, but that could just be because they overwrote a virtually-unused portion of memory. Whereas in the SCP, that section of memory could be vital to something else.
