Title: My Campaign
Post by: adwight on December 29, 2001, 04:07:00 pm
Ok, I need some new ideas for my campaign but here's how it goes:
Campaign:  Rebirth

It takes place 3 days after the destruction of Capella.  The NTF is nothing but a few hundred men, nothing compared to the GTVA.  They have 3 Corvettes, the Rapier, Commodore, and Revelation, and one Aeolus class cruiser, the Firestorm.

The NTF Commander,, comes up with a plan that will hurt the GTVA than help the NTF, steal the Aquitaine.

The Aquitaine is currently in Vega powering up its jump drives to head to Deneb.  It has a very minimal escort.

Ok, that's the story behind it. Here's how the first two missions go:

Mission 1:

You jump in and eliminate the Aquitaine's fighter escort.  The Aquitaine is heavily damaged, so an Argo transport (Sleipner) jumps in and docks with the Aquitaine.  The Marines on board the Sleipner take it over and jump to Talnia, where the new NTF headquarters will be.

Mission 2:

Because of the Aquitaine's dissappearence, the GTVA sends ships to all systems in GTVA space.  A Sobek class corvette the Sopedu jumps into Talnia.  The Firestorm is dispatched to take care of it.  Alpha destroys the Sopedu's escorts.  Moments after Alpha jumps in, the Rapier jumps in and destroys the Sopedu.

Ok, that's how my campaign starts.  I could use some ideas for future missions.

Thanks.

Hmm NTF, I like the idea, i'd play it if it has good grammar and gameplay.

Different name for the Argo, try the Palmn or something.

No ideas at the moment tho  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

Trust me, it has good grammar, I was just in a hurry.  Ok, I'll try to think of a good name for the Argo instead of Sleipner.  Sleipner just sounds right though.
