Click on MoreStuff in my siggy and look for BlackHole.rar...
A huge, slowly rotating 3D model.... I prolly should have used another texture for hte static ring, or one with more transparency, but hey - it's easily changed if you have remarks or suggestions.

Was this for your subspace mission plot idea?
-
I won't be using it...mission is scrubbed for now...and even if I didn't scrub it I wouldn't be placing a Black Hole in Sirius :p
-
True. All that's there that's odd is a white dwarf.

IF ya don't mind Trashman, I got a FEW uses for it!!! ;7
Trek Black Hole (From Klingon Acadey, 4 piece .BMP of a BH I converted into one texture for the model)
Note to Trashman: You got a Bisected V thing that shows through on the static model and also on the rotating model that rotates with it. look closely. Other than that I LOVE IT!
To Forum: Side view is almost perfect so angle it not quite zero plane if you want a near flat hole otherwise you see the rotating vs static part.. GREAT JOB!!!!!
it hugs teh texture all the way down so at angled view it looks "Holey" !? Too lazy to make/upload a second pic so just take my word for it!

I was gonna ask for a BH model soon. (In Gloval voice - "Mind reader"..)

Not mind reader, Mind Taker, Mind Taker!! :p

strange..didn't notice that V thingy....wil ltake a look at it.

<waves fingers in silly manner> ohweeeeeeeeeeohhhhhhhhh!!!

Cool looking! I would like to see the central disk area where it brightens change to blue and purplish though EM spectrum radiation frequency increases as you move towards the center of a black hole accretion disk. For a 2.0 version, adding bipolar outflow beams would be totally sweet.

Look, I got all the Bi-Polar I can handle now... (did that come out wrong?) :nervous:
Not quite sure what that is, BUT my sub-genius has determined you can have them. I take one of those thin beam strip objects from my KA install and throw a texture on it while making it a model that is "non-collide". Viola a particle fountain of light that won't affect you.
Waves fingers back at the Mentock clone: "Repeat after me, this is NOT the Mod you are looking for. We can go on our way. Move along!"

"Mentok: The Mind Taker! ooooooweeeeoooowuuuu! ok, first case, although i already know the outcome... first witness!"

Since I have no idea what you said, I agree.

hi,
look nice, but i think there lack of the plasma streams.
a black hole have plasma streams over the materia disk.
they call that the cry of death of the materia.
through the high gravitiy the materia are so hot, that not all materia go in the black hole, any of the materia go away.
imho it that in the visible zone of light viewable, too.

bahumut zero was my favorite materia. (Final Fantasy 7 reference.)
But yeah, polar partical beams seem to be a standard feature of all blackholes, since they seem to be created by the influx of accreted material. They just get more or less intense depending on how much material the black hole is capturing. A black hole anywhere near a galaxy should always be capturing at least a little bit of stuff.
