Said Vasudan prince Mihos number nine
Behead all Terrans you may find
And put them in this box of mine
Labeled Human Headz Inside
One more thing that's on my mind
Why must I speak in rhyme?
:headz:

:wtf:

HEADZ![/b]
Also, do four lines constitute art on this forum?
I think so.
We must discuss on this.

Said Vasudan prince Mihos number nine:
“Behead all Terrans you may find,
And put them in this box of mine,
Labeled ‘Human Headz Inside’,”
One more thing that’s on my mind,
Why must I speak in rhyme?”
:headz:
your rhyming meter is a bit off.
-
Well this is interesting.
A good interesting, but still interesting.
-
:ha:

easy to criticise.......
-
It's also easy to rhyme.
-
Go on then :p
-
his name is Carl and he's a Shivan
he aint got no rhymes, so he must be leavin'
-
'What's this!' Cried Petrarch, loud and bold
Vasudan scriptures long foretold,
Should flourish in this century
Of Subspace nodes and Hercules?
'But no!' cried Konshu, leader he,
Our people suffer misery!
We'll spend 20 years to counter that,
With a 9km Baseball bat!
-
-
20 years actualy...

Edited in accordance with Newtons 7th and half law...
For every comment, there is an equal and opposite Nitpick :p

Counter with a baseball bat! LOL..
"Let us build it, build it fast -
with terran and vasudan parts.
Make it ugly, make it long,
with loadz of beams all adorned.
Colossus let it be it's name,
Lucy-pawning is his game.
Release it at the NT Front
a trap was set for poor old Kolth.
He tried to ram, to no avail -
The Collie struck, he did not bail.
Alpha C was now secure,
The rebels ran, Big C persued.
Break the stalemate, end the war,
Chase Bosch's ship like never before!
Alas, sabotage was in the works
Iceni slipped trough all the hoops.
When the Sath came, we saw it then -
Collie needed help again.
Bombers flew right at the jugg,
it' cannons were in their sights.
Alpha 1 was there to help
and one by one the cannons fell.
The Sath jumped, but was not safe,
for a showdown did hte Collie wait.
His beamz were weak, his heat-sinks melted,
But Sath's advance was finally ended.
"Hooray" we yelled while filling tankards,
we're better than the sihvan bastards!
With renewed vigor and full of pride
we set off after Bosh last ride.
In a shivan transport he was spotted,
presumed alive and not yet gutted.
Again, in the pea soup we were searchin'
and found a Knossos with shivans lurking.
The Psamitk miss-jumped and was ill defended,
by another Sath was prmptly shredded.
Command panicked, for it looked bad,
many a jug a report did it had!
Run from the nebula! Don't look back fella!
We'll try to hold them at Capella!
And they came in numbers from far and wide
we had to run, we couldn't hide.
So Command said - we have a plan:
Collapse the nodes with a meson bang.
We'll send the Bastion and then the Neried,
and leave the shivans trapped for period!
The Collie and some ships departed,
to try and keep the bugs distracted.
But shivans came, but we were wining,
the battlegroupd was slowly dwindling.
We fought them back right till the hour
Sath 19 came and opened fire.
The damaged Collie stood his ground,
even if it was not sund.
With a big bang did it go down,
the best we had no more around.
But the Bation made it and sealed the node,
so we ran home wiht civys on the road.
And just as the Nierd was on it's way,
with the sun the shivans started to play.
In few seconds flat did it go nova,
vaporazing all, I though I was a gonna'
I made the jump, flew like a missile,
leaving the shivans to cook and sizzle.
I returned to fight them more than once
to gain some ranks and canon facts.
I only know I went to far,
with kills and medals and the loop,
when Petrach's voice sounds clear and far:
"Now go read a book!"

Well, if you want to get technical, the Colossus is 6km long. :p
-
I had my keyboard upside down :p
-
I followed Snipes quite wide and far,
And he led us to an unknown star,
But as soon as I surveyed the scene,
A great Sathanas did fill my screen,
As it rushed forward for a jump,
The both of us seemed destined to bump,
Until I heard Snipes, not too quiet,
“Dive, Dive!! Hit your burners, pilot!!!!”
-
No man could make for louder Gripes
Than he who worked alongside Snipes,
With ancient bomb and dodgy trigger
Not the Alliances greatest rigger,
In nebulous fog he lies alone,
A curvy path of beacons home,
Expecting you to save him from Death,
The guy he nearly got killed by the NTF,
And without pause for breath or fame,
Drags you into the Shivan game,
And then in stealth your wing arrive
To the cardially threatening 'Dive! Dive! Dive!'.
-
in this case i must invoke newtons 7 and 3 quarters law...
the colossus was 6km long :p
EDIT: damn, beat to the punch, by the gramminator himself.
32 years since the great war
new warships battle just as before
against a foe who caused great death
by the formation of the NTF
Aken Bosch is now almost alone
in a place quite far from home
the shivans took him, we dont know where
but in the night should you stare
out unto the starry sky
somwhere out there Aken lies
-
Haiku because theyre all i can do.
I saw this shivan
Lasers flyin at my legs
now my knees aken
-
Quoth the Raven, "Dive, dive, dive! Hit your burners pilot!"
-
Upadated my original work. Twice the length, twice the fun! ;)
-
*Fix0r3d*
And thats some excellent poetry from all of you! :)
-
Gawd its been a while. Lets try anyhow.
When the shivans came,
many a'gunz rang.
More and more fill in,
and multitudes killin.
Death cried outloud,
and sent the shivans in a croud.
Star they saw, they did go,
blew up so many a'home.
Atlast they stoped,
a moments peace.
Untill next time,
there will be no ease.
Day by day, hour by hour
rebuilding defences, taller and taller.
So much death,
to avail what?
What was the gain,
of all this pain.
The greatest war of all,
so many great did fall.
No one knows why,
why we started to fight.

Meh, its not one of my best. Its a quick work, and yes the wordin may be odd or off beat at times. Sue me.
-
Uh, it's supposed to be funny, and that's not funny. :wtf:
-
No one said it had to be funny. I think.
-
No, it doesn't have to be, but it sounds too gory.
-
No, it doesn't have to be, but it sounds too gory.
You mean morbid? :p
-
what's the difference? :nervous:
-
Morbid = Related to death
Gory = Your insides being on your outsides.
