Sorry I'm a dummy on computers . I have the original 20th anniversary CD's (Retail) for FS 2. I have upgraded to ver 1.20. I then added the "Open" files this a.m. I am trying to find and install the original Freespace with the extra campaigns. Does anybody know where and exactly how to install this. I would like to end up with the original Freespace campaigns followed by FS 2 Retail then FS_Open all in the same total game folder so when I hit exe that is how the game progresses. I want to use the better graphics in FS_Open for all. Is it possible to do???
Thanks for any help

OK, I used the guide to install everything. Then I created a mod folder for FS1 with all the .vp and other files, RARed them into a seperate folder I could link to the launcher, the port will not work. The game reverts to regular version. I am trying to start out in FS 1, then the extra campaign (if I can find it to download), then FS2 and the SCP versionwhile using the enhanced graphics the SCP has. I am at a loss how to get FSport to work.
Any help would be thankful

You have to choose the FS1 campaign from the campaign room or else you'll just get FS2's main campaign again.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank You (as I bow to you)!!!
All I need now is the extra campaign that was available with the original Freespace - Hint, Hint???
-
Silent Threat? That should also be included.
-
Is it listed seperate or included in the Freespace original campaign??
-
It should be appearing as a seperate campaign (I looked in the VP and there is definately more than one campaign file in there).
I have fsport2_3.vp do you have something different?
-
That is what I have but no "Silent Threat" listed. I have Awakening and the Freespace campaign listed and thats all...
-
Sorry - Found it, my fault...
Thanks so very much for your help and sorry to take up your time.
Thanks again.
