Title: Where to Download newest CVS

Hey, brand new to the scene and so far I've dl'ed FS2 full, FS_open and all the vps in the "Shiny" thread.  I keep reading about "CVS" and was wondering if there's a place to dl that or if it's packed with something I already dl'ed...

Its a thread in the "recent builds" subform of the SCP forum here. The latest build is the feb 02, 2006 version. The CVS builds are betas/WIPs and therefore change and get updated frequently and may be buggy, if you don't know this already.

Strictly speaking, the official builds are betas too. CVS ones are simply more recent betas, and so it's quite possible that they may actually be less buggy. Except just after a new feature has been added, of course, in which case they are rather crashy for the first week or so :p

but hey, thats what makes it fun. Now excuse my while I go pound my head against a wall trying to figure out why that one mission keeps crashing on me now.

Well, the official builds are "less beta" since they've gone through a round of bugtesting before being posted.
