Hi
I dont know if its the right place for this so i'm sorry if its not.
One of my SCP Player-Profiles seems to be corrupt... SCP crashes when i'm trying to load the Profile. In this Profile i had a nice Progress in the Derelict Campain and i dont want to loose this progress. So my question: Is it possible to create a new profile and then set the progress of the Campain to the right mission? Any help with my Problem would be great!

As far as I know there are no programs that will allow you to edit the progress in a CS2 file. What you could do is extract the campaign file from the derelict VP and edit it so that it starts at the mission you reached. That should definitely work but it might take a while if you don't know FRED.
A more risky manouver would be to create a new pilot and simply copy and rename the CS2 file to see if that will allow you to start again at the point in the campaign you had reached. I've never tried it so I've got no idea if it would work or not. That said it should only take you a couple of minutes to try it.

I'm almost positive that I tried that once after a pilot file went bad, and it worked perfectly, so long as the CS2 files were renamed to match the new pilot file.

Thx for the Answers! I tried the rename-thing but it keeps crashing the game... Now i will try and see what i can do with Fred. If anyone got another idea pls post :)
EDIT:Can someone tell me where to find the newest Version auf Fred_Open?

You can't find it in the CVS builds thread in the recent builds forum. That said as far as I know there are no changes to the campaign editor at all. You could probably open the Derelict SCP campaign file in FRED retail.
Of course if you've got the media VPs in the main folder you won't be able to open FRED retail to get to the campaign editor so it's probably quicker to get the newest version :)
