Besides, both parts of the name have to have the first letters capitalized. Red Faction.

Is there really that much desire for one? You guys have Red Faction Watch and that other 3dap hosted RF fan site to go to...I'm not sure we can cover RF in any way shape or form...

Yeh, Sector Five. Apart from RFW as a factor, S5 is hosted here with GS, so we're not meant to be competition for them... :/

I suppose we could provide some coverage... I mean - how far does competition stretch? we provide info on the game, a forum and a mod database for anyone that wants to submit mods? So long as we don't mimick what they do and so on we might be able to do it... Note to staff:

the latest vertion of VPView has been able to open RF VPPs sence the day after the summoner demo (note that was a way long time ago)

The point is that I spend most of my time on HLP (cool heh? (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)) and I'd like to find more stuff there, rather than go somewhere else.

We talked a little about it - but theres just to much else to do right now. Maybe in 6 months time, in the meantime I think you'll have to cope with.... shivers... being away from HLP whilst you look at RF stuff...

That's just a coincedence, a while ago we were going to cover Quake3 as well. But that was right back at the start of HLP when we didn't realise how much work went into covering one topic properly.

Yeah, the fact that we are covering all space sims right now is really just a coincidence. Obviously we started with FS, but it seems that us HLP staffers just get attracted to CSS's (combat space sims? Never seen an acronym for them before), so it just happened this way.
Anyway, there are other problems with covering RF. Lots. So unfortunately we can't handle it - not yet, at least. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
