I think that that poster that somebody made here on HLP did the trick of tricking game journalists into believing into it too...

...unless somebody came up with the idea of getting cash/a sponsor to get the IP and give it over to Volition...

I think this got mentioned a few months back on here.

Evidentally once a rumour gets started in the computer world it's hard to stop it.

Derek Smart was actually working for me when he started talking about FS3. He very nearly gave away the whole plan.
