Is there any way to enable the game to recognize a USB joystick and separate USB rudder pedals. I have a Saitek x52 stick and a set of USB rudder pedals by CH and would love to use them in combination as a don't really like the built in rudder control on the Saitek stick. thx,

AAAAHHHH X52 DAMMIT!!!! I WANT IT!!!
meh.
What's the problem? You should be able to just plug it in, go to the button setup and do what ou have to do to change it.
And this should be in the SCP forum. :)

Sorry, not that familiar with the forums. The game setup recognizes both the stick and the rudder pedals as two different devices but allows me to select just one device.

Well, that's all right. :)
Well, I would have to say that you would have to forego the rudder and throttle controls.

bummer, thx for your response. Years ago ( before everything went usb) I had an old ch f-16 combat stick and thrustmaster pedals that would use the joystick port. I really loved the combo but ... Guess I'll have to make do. (not that i'm a good pilot anyway)

The should be fixed eventually though. New control code is laying around to let two different joysticks be used at the same time (and support almost every function of the X-52 as well). Unfortunately this is just a small part of a much larger code upgrade so it's not available to the public until the new pilot code is finished.

The stick has a built-in rudder control, you know, so you don't need the pedals. :p

Yeah, I know about the built in rudder on the stick but it's just not the same as using pedals. And it's to easy to twist the stick (which activates the rudder) when dogfighting. Oh well, I'll just wait for the code to be implemented. thx,

What is the anticipated ETA of the pilot code to support both devices ??
