Rendered in TS (*gasp*), post production (beams and engine glows along with their ripples, explosions, and slight brightening) done in Photoshop 6. Rendering time was approx 20 min.

Yay for all-round beam coverage! (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
I said it many times before, but heck of course I'm going to say it again. Top job (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

(http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) Pitted against a Demon with those very nasty BFRed's, it usually comes out on top, although the average damage of the GTExD and Arcadia is usually around 30-40%... Those BFRed's are _nasty_!
And FTI, the engine section has a grand total of two turrets (even less than you, Steak! (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)) - but they're AAAf's at least... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

It is - the orange beams are Vasudan and the blue beam is Terran.
Don't know if anyone noticed yet, but how do you like the small distortion I put into the beams? (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

Well, as has been demonstrated on many occasions, TerranTurret#Weaks are a force to be reckoned with. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

Maybe a view of the GTExE and GTExD facing towards the camera all full speed and poweing up beams? ...I dunno. Anything works, it looks great (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) (yay the nodding actually applies here!)

Hum, by the pic... You should really increase poly count on the vasudan ship. Anyways... Great Job (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

That was my very first FS2 model, so i had no idea what kind of limits I had as far as polycounts and such... Adding detail now would be troublesome, as I would have to do so in Rhino, which would mean bye-bye texturing... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

Actually, I think it's one of the best models I have ever seen - especially as the polycount is so low for such a neat model.
