Is it possible to collapse selected layers of an image into just one layer ?

I be doing a skin for a Rally Mk2 'scort.

it's in your layers menu (the one among the file, edit bar.. ) and just go "flatten image"

"Merge Down" is another useful function if you want to keep some layers separate. It works by merging the layer you have selected down into the one below it - but leaves any other layers untouched.

also to note, for more complex things, use your layer pallette to make folders to stick each set of layers in, makes things easier if they're well organised, before i "discovered" that, i used to have 90+ layers all set out with no organisation bar what order i made them in  :p
