Imagine how dumb the tech guy would feel if he accidentally typed his password into the username spot.

This is great, I saw this all the time in Vegas or Reno though.  Big casinos with pretty large screens, though probably nowhere near the size of this one would always have either blue-screen errors, or the windows 98 crash box, if the system did'nt completely die.  It was quite amusing to see that some of these casinos are still using Windows 98 or even 95 as thier "sign server".

Right that reminds me...

I took this two days ago... ATM machine... pretty common I guess, still funny though, and no surprise at the billboard one I guess.

Yup, we get errors like that all the time in the UK, mostly on ATMs and Train Ticket Machines ;) Admittedly, they aren't quite so..... big.

The one that worried me was the ATM running Norton. :nervous:

My school's main monitor for roster changes is carrying an error message twice a week now. Really bloody annoying, but not half as big as this one, though.

It may help to understand human affairs to be clear that most of the great triumphs and tragedies of history are caused, not by people being fundamentally good or fundamentally bad, but by people being fundamentally people. - Good Omens, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

This damned signature made 6 of the 10 google ads advertise Terry Pratchett books.

I remember my universities chem department used to have a nice TV display showing the latest messages. One day it simply had a black screen with a guru meditiation number on it. :)

About 5 people will probably get what that means :)

Speaking of windows errors in funny places, this is my own experience, while on a cross-Atlantic flight to Italy. I was on an Airbus, with those little video screens in the seats in front of you, and this showed up (it's blurry cause it was dark):

Hopefully the plane itself was not run by Windows....

Well, at least it was the video and not something like, I dunno, the control or navigation system that crashed. I really hope those systems aren't running windows.

[Edit] Seems I type slower than starfox :p
