Title: I inspired the 101Freegames from CGW
Post by: JoeLo on February 23, 2006, 08:38:39 pm
Well maybe not, but I did send this letter to the editor that didn't get printed. Coincidince, proabably but still.

Every month you and your excellent team review a large slew of sequels, prequels, expansion packs, and more $50 dollar items. I love the tried and true, don't get me wrong they make great games and to a degree I agree with "'If it ain't broke don't fix it" however I don't have the cash to buy $50 games. So I turn to scratchware, small games that are less than twenty dollars. I think that every month your magazine should review one scratchware game, and the only requirement should be that it cost $20 or less. These games break ground, and sell cheaper than normal games, like Darwinia and Uplink, these are people who can't pay for advertising, but a review in a magazine could push them foward. If you can't find scratchware start here www.theunderdogs.org .
            Sincerely,
                    Joe LoGuidice

P.S. the e-mail address piegasolinekitty came off yahoo's name generator.
