Title: Installing FS2 and 16 bits of trouble...
Post by: Ghostavo on February 24, 2006, 04:54:49 pm
I'm trying to install FS2 into a laptop, with WinXP and while trying to use either the autorun or the setup file in the disk, it gives me an odd error...

Which more or less translates into:

"Windows subsystem at 16 bits
C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The file of the system is not adequate to execute MS-DOS and other Microsoft Windows' aplications."

Any thoughts?

Odd... I checked your FAQ in the install section before posting this... sorry anyway and thanks.

EDIT:
It worked

Good point. I forgot about this problem when I was writing the installation part of the FAQ. It should definitely be included.
