So they are going to mind control a bunch of sharks to follow boats around? That sounds a lot like what the Soviets in RA2 did.

All of which will be rendered useless by:

A very powerful magnetic net trawled off the back of the boat or a directional EM pulse weapon... rendering the control functions useless.

Technology / Fiction is fun :D
